Emiliano Godoy

Emiliano Godoy is a Mexican industrial designer who’s been working for almost 20 years in applied sustainability projects, using design as a tool for generating positive changes in society and the environment. His design pieces are part of some of the most revered design museums’ permanent collections, such as MoMA and the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, and have received several international design awards. Godoy runs the design firm bearing his name, where he designs products for manufacturers in Mexico, Europe and the United States, as well as interiors, architecture, exhibition and urban design projects. He is also part of Tuux, an interiors, architecture and manufacturing studio. He is a board member of the Abierto Mexicano de Diseño, an open-source design festival in Mexico City, and a partner at the online furniture store hechoyderecho.com.
